A Message From Our President
Ticket to Read®
Voyager Sopris Learning® is providing educators with additional opportunities to raise literacy achievement in the classroom with the introduction of two new professional development solutions: Connecting LETRS to the Classroom (CLTTC) and Fundamentals of Literacy Instruction (FOLI).
When students struggle to read, every aspect of their academic life is affected. Timely intervention is the only way they can catch up to their peers. At An Achievable Dream™ Academy Middle and High School in Newport News, Va., administrators experienced this firsthand, yet discovered a solution—Voyager Sopris Learning’s award-winning literacy curriculum LANGUAGE! Live—that now has those same students meeting and exceeding grade-level reading expectations.
Voyager Sopris Learning® has announced the presenter lineup—headed by leading experts in literacy education—for its 2017 Literacy Symposium, a premier two-day online professional development event this summer. With the goal of linking practitioners to the most current research in the science of literacy, the two sessions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. EDT on consecutive Mondays, July 10 and July 17.
Voyager Sopris Learning®, a provider of evidence-based preK–12 instructional solutions and professional services, has donated $40,000 of early learning classroom curriculum and books to the Louisiana Department of Education to aid child care centers in the Baton Rouge area impacted by the historic flooding.
